In early February 2025, approximately 100,000 organic eggs, valued at $40,000, were stolen from Pete & Gerry's Organics LLC in Greencastle, Franklin County. The theft occurred amid soaring egg prices nationwide due to avian flu outbreaks. Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the incident.
